In the last few years, the advance of conflicts, along with its developments and respective impacts, has become more and more evident, being, in the context of ObservActiva, frequently identified. Within public security, where many of the presented conflicts occur, the alarming increase in violence and repression, especially in urban and peripheral areas, perpetuates a history of unproportional impacts over populations in greater situations of structural fragility.
In conclusion, many of the conflicts exposed in the following paragraphs represent the continuity of conjunctures already approached by the observatory, which, by the end, still have systematic repercussions in the life of Latin-American and Caribbean citizens.
